240000When 21-year Marine veteran Master Sgt. Jacinto Bernardo returned to his home in Suisun City, California last week, he got the surprise of a lifetime. While stationed in Okinawa, Japan, Bernando’s old boot camp Marine pal Jeremy Epperson raised money, gathered up volunteers, and put $70,000 worth of work into Bernando’s home. Bernando fought back tears in an interview saying, “Those guys who didn’t make it back, and those guys that didn’t make it back in one piece, they deserve this not me.”
